Principal's Message

“Education is simply the soul of a society as it passes from one generation to anothers”.

VISION STATEMENT

“We, the Sisters of St. Ann of Providence challenged by the life and mission of Jesus Christ are called upon to liberate, and empower children and youth who are under our care especially the poor and marginalized through holistic quality education.”

MISSION STATEMENT

“Placing our total trust in God, we are called upon to form our little ones into men and women of character who will distinguish themselves by their academic and professional excellence, sound human values of love, peace brotherhood / sisterhood, holistic growth in their intellectual, emotional, physical aesthetic abilities with a spirit of self service and leadership qualities. Thus they will contribute their talents for the transformation of the present day conditions, towards building a just and eco-friendly human society, where genuine freedom, equality of opportunities, respect for religion, moral and social values found in the Gospels and enshrined in the Constitution of India, will prevail.”

We see our students come into our institution at a very tender age, we see them grow and bloom. As we see them play, learn, work hard at their studies, we realize the role we play in molding them. Times today have changed, the young learners have access to gadgets , opportunities and exposure that a decade ago would have astounded us. In this context, teaching values in schools is a real challenge for the teachers. What we aim in Mount St. Ann  is a noble value exhortation which formed the core of the ancient educational system that produced the  honest men and women, and more than all these a culture and civilization which  we have lost touch for some time now. The end of education lies in transforming the individual and elevating him/her to an egoless state. The purpose of education is to strengthen character in the younger generation which is an answer to many of the problems  faced by people today. May the true education carry the message of serenity, humility and human compassion and wipe out the moral chaos prevailing in our society. Today, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society.

"Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations"

The  child’s learning involves and revolves around an effective partnership between home and  school. We know the stronger the partnership is, the more  the child will benefit.

We entrust all our endeavors  in God’s hands. We are confident that he will take us” from darkness to light”.  And with the blessings of St. Anne we are confident that our Annites will soar high.
