For the successful implementation of the academic Programme regular and punctual attendance is imperative. Therefore:

Students should obtainprior permission of the class teacher for not attending the classes. If previous permission is not obtained due to unavoidable circumstances an application for leave should be sent to the class teacher the same day or latest by the next day.

All applications for leave are to be signed by the Parent.

Applications for leave on medical grounds are to be supported by an authentic medical certificate.

Students suffering frominfectious disease will not be allowed to attend the classes or appear in the Exams.

If the attendance is less than the prescribed percentage i.e. 75% of the total working days, the student will not be allowed to appear at the Annual Examination.

A prolonged absence (withoutapplication for leave) for 10 consecutive days will result in the removal of the name from the rolls.
